David possesses over 25 years executive search experience with leading global firms and boutiques. At Russell Reynolds Associates, David spent fifteen years focused on the technology sector and served as leader of the global chief information officer (CIO) practice. Prior to executive recruiting, David managed large hospital and health system accounts for
IBM. His passion for the industry and combined corporate and health care recruiting experience is well suited to help providers and health care IT software and services companies identify and attract the leadership needed to excel in today’s competitive, fast paced, information and data oriented health care environments.

Having “grown up” in an independent pharmacy and later managing hospital and health system accounts for IBM combined with 16 years’ experience in not-for-profit health care governance, David’s passion for the industry and combined corporate and health care recruiting experience is well suited to help provider and healthcare IT software and services companies identify and attract the leadership needed to excel in today’s competitive, fast paced, information oriented health care environments.
David earned a B.S. Business at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
In addition to being a consummate marketer, Bill Fox, since his early days at IBM has been operationally focused and entrepreneurially oriented. Almost from the beginning of his career, Bill has seemingly been on a mission to use information and automation to improve processes of all kinds. His professional career includes 2 stints with
IBM including 2 years working with the company in
China-Hong Kong,
KPMG Peat Marwick,
South Trust Mortgage and
Blytheco. Throughout much of his career Bill has also run Fox Consulting Corporation and
FOXmls.com which really bring home his focus on operational efficiency, process automation and his entrepreneurial zeal.
Bill was a natural fit as an IBM account executive where his
enthusiasm for the tangible benefits a customer could garner
from implementing IBM solutions and his high energy made him a
highly successful IBM salesman, presenter and project manager.
While with IBM, Bill focused on several different industries
including healthcare for which he has always had strong
interest. Surrounded by family who are members of the healthcare
community (nurse, pharmacist,
physician who was a co-founder of the
Gynecologic Oncology specialty) he is energized by Elmcrest Partners’ focus on
healthcare and in particular, it’s emphasis on health care
information technology.
Bill holds B.S. in Business Administration earned at the
